A Journey of Divine Purpose Through Tarot and Nature’s Wisdom

Welcome, beautiful souls, to my sacred space at Metaphysical Mom, where I share the unfolding mysteries of life through metaphysical tools, nature’s wisdom, and spiritual truths. This morning, as I sat in my quiet time, I felt the Universe nudge me to share a tapestry of insights woven from tarot, herbal astrology, and animal wisdom. What unfolded was a inviting roadmap for my new life phase—a journey of sharing ideas, embracing divine purpose, and rediscovering childlike joy. Let’s explore this together, shall we?

Divine Purpose, childlike joy, compassionate leadership, new life phase

Divine Purpose Unveiled Through Tarot

I began with my tarot deck, pulling three cards to illuminate my path. For the past, the Page of Swords danced forward—brimming with energy, ideas, and a thirst to communicate in fresh ways. This resonates deeply. I’ve always been a wellspring of inspiration, eager to share what lights me up. But how to channel this into a new form of communication? That question lingered like a soft breeze.

In the present, The Fool stepped in—naive, optimistic, carefree, and heralding the infancy of a new life phase. This card urges curiosity, an open mind, and trusting my gut. Oh, how I feel this! I’m exploring this fresh chapter with wide-eyed wonder, ready to share my energy and ideas in ways that feel aligned with my soul. The Fool whispers: Great potential awaits—dive in!

For the future, the VII of Pentacles appeared, symbolizing mastery of a skill, often in solitude. It warns of hard, tedious work but encourages seeking help. I see this as my path forward—mastering the art of sharing my messages, leaning into the grind, but not doing it alone. I’ll need support to bring this vision to life, and I’m ready to ask for it.

Compassionate Leadership from Herbal Allies

Next, I turned to my herbal astrology cards, and the Universe gifted me two powerful allies. First, Lion’s Mane, an herb of Mercury, the Messenger, governed by the Sun. Its message? Lead your life with compassionate leadership, and the rest will follow. As I step into this new form of communication, sharing my ideas with the world, I’m called to lead with heart—infusing every word with love and authenticity. What a beautiful reminder!

Then came Ashwagandha, herb of the lunar nodes, tied to divine purpose and the future self. Ruled by both the Sun (energizing, revitalizing) and the Moon (calming, nurturing), it speaks of receiving a divine gift. I feel this deeply—I’m uncovering my dharma, my soul’s calling, as I master the skill of sharing my messages. The Sun and Moon’s dual energy feels like a cosmic hug, balancing my fiery passion with soothing calm.

Childlike Joy Through Animal Wisdom

Finally, I drew from my animal wisdom cards, and Porcupine waddled into view, urging me to open my heart to the things that gave me joy as a child. The Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams and David Carson (Copyright 1999, illustrated by Angela Werneke) share a tender story about Porcupine and Bear that I’ll summarize here. Porcupine, enchanted by a hollow log, imagines all the playful ways she can enjoy it—rolling it, exploring inside for worms, or scratching her back on its bark. When gruff old Bear approaches, searching for honey, Porcupine invites him to play. Bear, initially dismissive, snorts that he’s too old for such things. But Porcupine’s gentle wisdom—“You’re never too old to play”—stirs something in Bear. He remembers his cub days, and joy rekindles in his heart. Through Porcupine’s innocence, Bear sheds his intellectual mask, embracing childlike joy and connection.

This story, credited to the Medicine Cards, hits home. It echoes The Fool’s carefree spirit, encouraging me to approach this new life phase with optimism and playfulness as I master my craft. Porcupine reminds me to let go of overthinking and reconnect with the simple joys of my childhood—those moments of unfiltered wonder that still live in me.

Metaphysical Mom's Musings Text

New Life Phase: A Harmonious Path Forward

Reflecting on this morning’s guidance, I see a clear thread. I’ve always had energy and ideas to share (Page of Swords), and now I’m curiously exploring how to do so in this new life phase (The Fool). The future promises mastery (VII of Pentacles), but I’ll need to seek help along the way. Lion’s Mane calls me to lead with compassionate leadership, while Ashwagandha affirms I’m stepping into my divine purpose, blessed by the Sun and Moon’s harmonious energy. And Porcupine? She nudges me to weave childlike joy into this journey, keeping my heart open and playful.

This is the essence of Metaphysical Mom—embracing spiritual tools to uncover life’s magic while learning from our greatest teachers - our children, trusting the Universe’s nudges, and sharing it all with you. What’s sparking your divine purpose right now? I’d love to hear—let’s muse together!
