About Metaphysical Mom

As the Chinese proverb says, “The way it begins is the way it ends.” So, before I share a bit about myself, let me start with my guiding intention:

I am here to be truly helpful, representing the One Who sent me. I trust the One Who sent me to guide my words and actions. I am content to be wherever this One leads, knowing I am never alone. As I allow the One Who sent me to teach me healing, I am healed. (Adapted from A Course in Miracles (ad))

When my eldest was born nearly 35 years ago, I thought I’d be the breadwinner while Dad took on baby duties. Oh, how wrong I was! I fell head-over-heels in love with my son—madly, deeply, irrevocably. That love grew fiercer with the arrival of his younger brother and sister. Keeping my heart connected to them has been my greatest priority, requiring me to evolve, release rigid parenting notions, and embrace the wild ride of raising kids (yes, even teenagers!).

Gary Zukav, in The Seat of the Soul (ad), writes that we’re evolving from five-sensory to multi-sensory beings. Our five senses perceive only the physical world, but as multi-sensory humans, we tap into the invisible, expansive reality beyond. My life’s mission has been to nurture my three children as multi-sensory beings. Drawing from 40 years of spiritual practice, I’ve adapted profound teachings into ‘kid-friendly’ tools to support their growth.

As a committed holistic parent, I’ve homeschooled all my children, and I’m brimming with ideas to share. Alongside this, I’ve spent three decades studying Natural Health. I was pursuing a doctorate in the field until the college unexpectedly closed. Still, I’ve successfully used natural healing methods with my family—so much so that our doctor’s office kept our file in the ‘inactive’ pile, only pulled out for school forms. On this site, you’ll find insights into Natural Health and practical alternatives to conventional therapies.

This website is a Celebration of Motherhood, dedicated to the Divine Mother Who cradles, protects, and guides us with boundless love. Our children—those radiant beings of light—have honored us by choosing us as their parents. My wish is to share whatever wisdom and support I can to light your path as we journey with our blessed ones. May we keep the spark in their eyes forever aglow!
